Hospice Volunteers are an important part of our team at Autumn Woods Hospice. As a volunteer you would be embarking in a rewarding experience for you and most importantly our patients. Our Volunteer Coordinator works with your schedule and your interests/hobbies when placing you to ensure that the experience is a positive one for you and our patients.
As a Hospice Volunteer, you choose to work directly or indirectly with our patients. Direct opportunities available include: companionship, respite, emotional support, assistance with activities, and more. Indirect opportunities include administrative/clerical tasks and special projects.
Our Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with you to ensure that you are properly placed and trained.
