November is National Family Caregivers Month, a great time to honor and support the family members who provide care for elderly and disabled loved ones. This unpaid care often goes unnoticed, yet it’s so vital to our loved one. They'll often put their own physical, emotional and financial well-being on hold. They may neglect their own healthcare and wellness routine. Many may cut back on their hours at work or leave their job entirely. Caregivers are at higher risk of depression, burnout, and other stress-related conditions.

Health & Awareness is looking for volunteers to locate family caregivers and encourage a family member to nominate them.

People can nominate their caregiver or a caregiver they know for this fun-filled informative event; designed to show appreciation and educate Caregivers. Encourage everyone to wear Blue or Green to honor caregivers. Dress code is casual dress - caregiver can dress up or dress down.

Exhibitor to help educate and train family caregivers on the skills and techniques and benefits available are welcome to attend for a small fee.
