Group leaders are needed for the following groups;
-STROKE SURVIVORS GROUP. Aimed at Baby Boomers, the volunteer would facilitate a group providing support and encouragement to Stroke survivors. Ideally, the group would continue for 6 weeks, and could be ongoing.

-WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU MOVE FROM INDEPENDENT HOUSING TO AN ADULT FAMILY HOME. This group will give support to people during this often difficult transition.

The days, dates and times are flexible as these groups would be starting up. Our ElderPlace participants live throughout King County. These groups are requested by our Columbia City PACE center located on Martin Luther King Jr. Way S.

Ideally, group leaders would have some education/and or experience in Mental health, social work, therapy, counseling, and/or working with Elders.
