Be a HERO to a Hospice patient!
Heartland Hospice Services
Welcome to Heartland Hospice!
Our Volunteers help enrich the lives of our patients by:
Help with office support
Provide companionship to patients: Read, play soothing music, work puzzles, color at bedside, be a friend
Provide brief periods of respite to caregivers
Run errands for patients and families
Reading, playing soothing music, or offering a warm conversation to an individual who is home bound.
Covid-19: Temperature checks required prior to coming into office. Masks required while in office.
- Imagine spending one on one time with a senior who has interesting life experiences to recount and so much wisdom to share. Imagine reading, singing, playing cards or other games with a person who is home bound. Imagine giving a tired caregiver a chance to get a manicure, see a movie or just take a nap. Or imagine putting your administrative skills to good use by helping out in a busy hospice office. Volunteering for a hospice provider is a great opportunity! Flexible hours available and service locations throughout Horry and Georgetown Counties. Reward yourself and call today!

About Heartland Hospice Services
2411 N. Oak Street, Suite 108, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, US
Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice is a growing company dedicated to providing compassionate high quality home health care. We will achieve this by recruiting professional, caring staff, encouraging patients to become active participants in care, and by creating an atmosphere of supportive leadership. We value strong, mutually beneficial relationships with referral sources, employees, patients and caregivers and community at large.
Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support for people in the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice focuses on enhancing the quality of life, rather than length of life. It neither hastens nor postpones death; it affirms life and regards dying as a normal process. The hospice program stresses human values that go beyond the physical needs of the patient. Hospice ensures that patients spend their final days in dignity and comfort.
