Wings for Success is looking to expand it's Board of Directors this fall. Applicants do not need to have prior board experience, but do need to fully understand the responsibility of being part of a board.

You must have a passion for serving women and our community and have experience in at least one of the following areas:

Social work in the Southeastern PA area, prefer Chester County
Financial experience: CFO, CPA, Bookkeeper or Small Business Owner/Manager
Marketing: Social Media, PR, Sales,
Law: Attorney, Paralegal, Legal Secretary
IT: Software, Programming, Website
HR: Mangement

This is a 3 year commitment, but not a contract. We are a working board which means that you will be expected to contribute in your area of expertise, sometimes by leading volunteers. Examples of tasks: designing new programs for clients, improving financial procedures, creating press releases, reading over leases and contracts or asking for sponsorships and donations.

Now that all of the pertinent information has been shared, let us add that we're a great group that is passionate about our mission and community. We get a lot done, have great discussions and are proud of our work of changing the lives of the women in our community. We meet one evening a month from 6pm-8pm, have one full working day per year and squeeze our board obligations in between work and family. And, divvy up attending community events based on who is available to attend. Those that can't laugh while doing serious work are discouraged from applying.
