Programming Assistant for Lego Club

ORGANIZATION: San Jose Public Library - Biblioteca Latinoamericana Branch Library

The Lego Club Programming Assistant will help set the tables for the Lego Club, which takes place most Thursdays from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. in the Children's Area. If you have around an hour and a half each week to spare, we would appreciate your help.

3:45 - 4:00 - set up
4:00 - 5:00 - monitor program
5:00 - 5:15 - Clean up

Fingerprinting is requited for all volunteers ages 18 and older.

Description

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
