SBAAZ is fortunate enough to have a small campus with an office, a meeting space, and four living units for adults who are wheelchair users.
Our small office staff needs help with routine maintenance (watering system, changing AC filters, replacing ceiling bulbs, hanging wall items, hosing down buildings & squeegie windows as needed) as well as "pop up" situations (ceiling fan & light kit installation, toilet flusher, ballast replacement, broken lock/door knob, replace smoke detector)
We are considerate to wait til there are a small number of items to make a worthwhile trip and are very patient and appreciative of volunteer help with these tasks when they are non urgent to tenants or flow of business.
Flexible schedule as the tenants are available evenings and weekends.
This is not a "work day" but an ongoing commitment for someone who likes to "fix stuff".

Description
The Spina Bifida Association of Arizona has a vision to help promote awareness of Spina Bifida. Every year thousands of babies are born with Spina Bifida. We feel that the awareness programs we provide will help decrease the amount of babies born with Spina Bifida and help mothers have the most information possible to help with raising a child with Spina Bifida.
Enhancing the quality of life for those affected by Spina Bifida is another vision the Association hopes to achieve. Through programs, services, parental support, networking and providing education and advocacy we feel we will be able to help those affected by Spina Bifida; by doing so people living with Spina Bifida will be able to live life to their fullest potential
