AARP Foundation RSVP is calling volunteers age 55 and over in helping us support IMD Guest House. IMD Guest House welcome Medical District patients and their loved ones in need of short term housing while receiving treatment in the Medical District. We are calling all gift bag makers and bakers to assist in collecting supplies and creating welcome bags and cards for new guests at IMD Guest house. We also need donations for welcome bags and ingredients for sugar cookies.
Items for welcome bags (enough for 15 bags): hand sanitizer, tooth brush & toothpaste, memo pad or journal with a pen, snacks, and a gift card to Jewel or Target.

Description
RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.
Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
