J came to out out of foster care to live at Domus House. His older sister started using, he ran away, and the state became his legal guardian. J graduated on time from Stamford High and is working multiple jobs to make his dream come true--to be a helicopter pilot. In fact he knows the manual so well, he thinks he could teach it. But here's the catch, he's never flown. Not in a commercial jet, a private plane, and definitely not a helicopter. Can you help? Where to start: a helicopter ride in NYC, a ride up to Danbury Airport to take his TSA exam, someone to talk to who believes in his dream as much as he does. And maybe some help with classes. DCF and Domus can pay part of the cost, but it's not quite enough. If you or someone you know fits some or all of the bill, write me.
