Front desk volunteers assist in the day-to-day operation in our largest St. Pete facility, the East House, by assisting with check in processes for families, checking out families going home, giving tours, answering phones, processing physical donation items, assisting with meal set up and clean up, and light housekeeping. We have volunteers help with special household projects as needed.
Shifts are 3-4 hours in length depending on the house. Shifts are currently available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. 10a-2p, 2-6p, 6p-9p.
There is a minimum requirement of two shifts per month and a 6 month commitment is recommended.
