We are looking for volunteers to be a part of our global team who are looking to build their expertise in the area of Digital Marketing and Social Media Advocacy. As a Digital Marketing Specialist you will help create and implement online campaigns to promote our online programs and services
If you are a dedicated individual who is passionate about digital marketing and looking for an opportunity to expand your experience and build your portfolio as a Digital Marketing Specialist this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute a marketing strategy to promote our content, programs and initiatives
* Write or assist in producing monthly e-newsletters and program-specific newsletters
* Manage social media and website marketing of content and programs to drive users to our website who are seeking information on preventing and coping with cancer
* Develop collateral material for marketing purposes
* Write or assist in producing monthly e-newsletters and program-specific newsletters
* Keep website and all social media sites updated with current and relevant information
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
* Ability to develop a Marketing & Social Media Strategy
* Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO)
* Experience with email marketing services
* Proven communication skills (written and oral), including proofreading and editing skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Excellent time management and effective communication skills

VISION
To be the leading resource centre for women of African Ancestry diagnosed and living with breast cancer
GOALS
1. Develop and implement culturally diverse cancer support programs
2. Expand the organization’s reach in serving communities across Canada
3. Increase funding and obtain a sustainable financial base to drive program growth
4. Extend support to underserved developing countries in the Caribbean and Africa (in longer term)
