Staging Check-In Volunteers (15): These volunteers assist the Parade Committee at the check-in tent locations, in the staging areas. They check-in parade entries and assist parade entries in locating their designated staging area. If entries make special requests or raise concerns the volunteers should immediately contact a member of the Parade Committee for further assistance.
Arrival Time: 7:30 a.m.
Staging Entry Spacing Volunteers (12): Ensure the units keep a steady pace and assist in any breakdowns, falls off horses, entries who may faint, etc. The managers will obtain assistance via radio to the Parade Committee members. The committee will get City Fire to respond accordingly in the event of personal injuries. If the matter is a car breakdown or other similar issue, the marshal will need to assist in moving the broken-down vehicle or entry to the left and move the following parade entries to the right so they may continue along the route. The Parade committee will respond with appropriate support.
Arrival Time: 8:30 a.m.
