Flag and Program Distribution (20): The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are the primary volunteer team to assist with program distribution. They will work with the Logistics Committee to determine the program distribution route. These volunteers will hand out American Flags and parade programs along the parade route prior to the start of the parade. There are 200 programs per box. There will be 2 boxes at VIP, , 2 boxes for at each speaker tower, and 2 boxes at check in. All extra programs not distributed in this effort should be returned to the speaker towers located along the parade route by 11:00 a.m. Arrival time: 8:30 a.m.

Water Distribution (8): Volunteers will work with the Logistics Committee to determine the water distribution plan. Water needs to be distributed at staging, de-staging, and at the 8 speaker towers. All water not distributed to parade participants should be returned to the VA Medical Center and placed in care of a member of the Parade Committee. Spectators are not provided with water. This is a dual role with the parade route.

Arrival time: 8:30 a.m.

Chairs, tables, tents (10): Volunteers to set-up the tents, chairs, and tables used in the VIP areas. Arrival Time: 9:30 a.m.

Marshals to cars: Work with the Marshals to get them to the assigned vehicles. IF we do not have enough HMMWV’s for each Marshal, we need to ensure other transport.

Arrival time 10:00 a.m.

VIPS to cars: Work with VIPS to get them to assigned vehicles. This can be military or civilian vehicles depending on what was lined up previously.

Arrival time: 10 a.m.
