The Warehousing activity supports service delivery by ensuring the effective control and distribution of disaster relief materials. Warehousing workers are responsible for inventory, distribution, and consolidation of disaster relief materials, and for ensuring the other activities on the relief operation have the supplies they need to provide services to our clients.
The Warehouse Associate manages the inventory of materials and supplies required for disaster relief. Distribute, transport and/or install, as appropriate, materials and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and storing material
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
- Load product on delivery vehicles
- Record inventory
- Retrieve and sort information and reports for Warehouse Management
Time Commitment: Scheduled on a rotating basis and/or on-call depending on the number of emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Ability to sign Bills of Lading or waybills, inventory items received, organize product according to layout map, place items in stock, pick and pull supplies, ship items and be accountable for quality and location of supplies
- Stock shopped and/or received is recorded in the inventory management system
- Ability to conduct a physical inventory
