Champions for a Cure Gala raises funds to support the one in four adults and 300,000 children who are living with arthritis in the U.S. Juvenile arthritis is one of the most common childhood diseases in the US affecting more children than juvenile diabetes, cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy combined. This event features games, silent and live auction, raffle, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Thank you for being a Champion of Yes, and joining us for the fight against arthritis! You would help in one of the following roles -
Registration, Greeter, Coat Check, Silent Auction, Live Auction, Clean Up, etc.
Instructions will be given prior to the event. Some roles will receive training day of.
Dress code
Champions for a Cure Gala is cocktail attire for our patrons. Our volunteers are asked to wear the same:
- Men: collared shirt, dress pants
- Women: dress pants, dress shirt, skirt or dress
- Please wear comfortable shoes as most volunteer roles require standing!
Food and beverages
Food and beverages will be provided to volunteers. Feel free to take breaks throughout the evening. However, please make sure someone is covering your assigned area at all times.
Parking available on site for a fee. We suggest carpooling.
