Volunteers are needed to assist with vegetable harvest. Volunteers will be given detailed instructions for how to pick the crop. Harvesting requires light to medium physical labor that includes lifting up to 30 pounds. Gleaning of previous harvesting experiences is preferred, although newcomers are welcome.

We engage communities facing hunger to understand their unique needs and barriers. Then by building relationships and engaging our neighbors, we create programs and initiatives that meet specific needs, breaking the cycles of poverty, restoring dignity and improving the health of our community. We have served the seven counties of central NC for over 32 years and are a member of the Feeding America network of 200 food banks across the nation.
