Harborview Medical Center is seeking volunteers to participate in our upcoming Decontamination Drill on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 from 7 am - 12 pm. The HMC Decon Drill is an annual rehearsal featuring an imaginary incident that helps staff prepare for widespread exposure to dangerous chemicals. Hospital staff simulate the decontamination and triage procedures for a chemical emergency. Volunteers will get wet during the simulation. Volunteers will check in at the Volunteer Services office and then proceed to the drill location.
By volunteering for the drill you’ll get a behind the scenes look at Harborview’s disaster preparedness protocol and volunteer alongside our amazing and dedicated professionals.
