Shelters are absolutely overwhelmed, and every day dogs desperately need a space for refuge. With just a little bit of love, understanding, and a small accommodation in the homes of volunteers, the lives of dogs could be changed forever.
By opening you home temporarily to just one dog in need, you can change their world and their life... forever!
The AARF Foster Dog Team invites you to join us! Help us pull pups-in-need from shelters, bringing them into a supportive environment where they can flourish, and then finally find their forever homes.

Mission Statement
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends is a small group of concerned animal lovers dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused animals. We work with local veterinary clinics to provide veterinary care to the animals before placing them in temporary foster homes, and eventually, loving permanent homes. Please check often, and contact us if you are looking for a particular pet. Thousands of animals in the Atlanta area are in need of homes.
