GiGi's Playhouse offers purposeful, progressive, therapeutic, educational and social programs throughout the month and on the weekends at designated times. We are always in need of Leaders and Volunteers for all of our amazing programs!

  • Program Assistants
    • Assistant Program Co-Leaders in supporting activities and participant engagement; greet participants and engage with families before/after programming.

7 Shifts

  • 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM CST - Spots available: 3
    GiGiU (Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays) Ages 18+ - time commitment is flexible
  • morning / 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM CST - Spots available: 2
    LMNOP (Tuesday and Saturday) Ages 14+
  • 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM CST - Spots available: 3
    GiGi Prep (Monday & Wednesday) Ages 18+ - time commitment is flexible
  • 11:30 AM to 01:30 AM CST - FULL
    GiGi Adult Kitchen (Tuesday and Thursday) Ages 18+
  • afternoon / 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM CST - Spots available: 1
    GiGiFIT Adult (Tuesdays and Thursdays) Ages 18+
  • evening / 05:00 PM to 06:00 PM CST - Spots available: 3
    GiGiFIT Teens (Tuesday and Thursday) Ages 14+
  • 05:00 PM to 06:00 PM CST - Spots available: 4
    Adult Dance (Wednesday) Ages 18+

Mission Statement

GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We offer free therapeutic and educational programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Description

GiGi's Playhouses are Down syndrome achievement centers that provide resources, specialized teaching, and support to individuals with Down syndrome, their famil ies and the community. All of our programs are free to our families, are therapeutic in nature, and range in age from pre-natal diagnosis through adulthood. With multiple locations across the country, we seek to increase positive awareness of Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. We know that by helping individuals with Down syndrome reach their highest potential, we can change outdated perceptions that people may have. The end result is a world that is empowered with knowledge, compassion, and inspiration - what a better place for all of us!
