Would you enjoy making a difference in your community while never needing to leave your home? Volunteer as a personal talking print reader with Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired and read the Cincinnati Herald's front page. This volunteer opportunity's schedule varies and the time commitment is approximately 30 minutes. The front page will be read over the phone and saved so our blind and visually impaired clients can call and listen to the information.
Must be able to read with clear pronunciation. Must be willing to read what is written without inserting personal bias. there is a short cold-read audition that focuses on pronouncing tricky words.
For any questions, please contact Jennifer.Holladay@cincyblind.org or call directly at 513-487-4237. Otherwise, you may submit the volunteer application.
Thank you.
