Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association California Central Coast Chapter

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Do you want to take charge for a cause? We invite you to join us for the Santa Maria Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, which is one of the Nation's largest events to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research as a Team Captain.

As a Team Captain you will take the lead of your team (it can be any size from 1 to 100) and have fun while raising awareness and funds to help us end Alzheimer's. Those who raise over $500 become champions and receive extra perks for the Walk!

The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a community event that joins friends, family, coworkers, and community groups as they walk to end Alzheimer's through beautiful Waller Park. To help the nearly 8,500 in Santa Barbara County diagnosed with Alzheimer's, our goal is to raise $72,000 for our local chapter and have 350 walkers. The event is on September 29th at Waller Park in Santa Maria.

Register at act.alz.org/santamaria or reach out to Whitney at 805-892-4259 ex 101 or wcmcmullen@alz.org.
