The Blue Heron Nature Preserve, a 30-acre public park in North Atlanta, is looking for a volunteer or team of volunteers to assist in our water quality testing program. No previous experience necessary. You must be able-bodied and available one Thursday a month between 8 am and 2 pm. Actual water sampling and delivery will only take about 2 hours.
If you want to get more hands-on volunteer experience relating to the environment, ecology, urban habitats, etc, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

The Blue Heron Nature Preserve 501(c)(3) is a nonprofit organization which manages a 30-acre greenspace located in north Atlanta in partnership with the City of Atlanta Parks Department. The Preserve was founded in 2000 with the vision of being a haven for nature in an urban environment. Our mission is to create a personal experience in nature for everyone through engagement, preservation, education, research and advocacy.
