EVENT DESCRIPTION:

One Brick Boston is excited to be participating in the second Salem Road Race! Run by the organizers of the Cambridge 5K Series, join us to help out at this scenic 10k race along the Salem waterfront followed by a post-race block party at Notch Brewing! The race benefits the Salem YMCA, plus your participation will benefit One Brick Boston!!

WHAT WE'LL BE DOING: Waterstop: pre-pouring water in cups, handing water to runners, raking up used cups Bag Check: greeting runners, organizing bags after they are dropped off Timing Company Assistance: Assist race timing company with recording manual times as back up; training to be provided before the race starts. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: Volunteers will receive free admission to the post race block party at Notch Brewing with free snacks, beer from Notch, and cider from Far From The Tree . (ALL beer & food is complimentary for One Brick volunteers along with runners). One Brick Boston will have a VIP tent set up in the post-race party area!

Note: You must be 21+ to volunteer with One Brick Boston. WHERE TO MEET: Volunteers should see their Event Manager and at the Volunteer Table located at the City of Salem Parking Lot - 289 Derby Street at 8:00 am. The afterparty will be held at Notch Brewing, located at at 283 Derby Street Salem, MA 01970 The meeting location is: City of Salem Parking Lot 289 Derby St Salem, MA 01970 MBTA: Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail Line to Salem Bus Route 455 from Wonderland to Salem You can also use Uber/Lyft Please arrive by 8am!
