Virtual (Zoom) Tutors/Volunteers needed for students in grades K-6. The program runs throughout the academic school year, beginning in September and ending in May each semester. Tuesday and Thursday. Main focus is Homework help and tutoring assistance in Math, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Science.
Zoom Schedule:
Sign into Zoom: Arrival - 5:15- 5:25 P.M. (contact info will be provided)
Homework/Tutoring - 5:30-6:30 P.M.
Bible Activities - 6:30- 7:00 P.M.
Sign out at 7 P.M.

Description
Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 261 W. 25th Street across from Ivy Tech. We have served the Highland Vicinity Neighborhood since 1939. OSELC is the home of Rebecca's Garden Of Hope (RGOH) Tutoring & Mentoring Program - Indy. We offer free virtual tutoring for "at-risk" students in grades 1-6. RGOH is in year 6 We have several Community Partners including Ivy Tech Community College, Tindley Genesis Academy, IUPUI and University of Indianapolis. We have free virtual tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday weekly from 5:15-7:00 P.M., for elementary students in grades 1-6; RGOH runs throughout the school year September-May. Our goals include providing homework help with enhanced academics and finish the day with a 30-minute Bible Activity. Our Parents, Tutors/Volunteers and Community
Partners speak highly of our program success. Our goal is to have one to one tutoring That's where volunteers come in. we recently completed year six.
