NEXT Village SF is an amazing nonprofit located in northeastern San Francisco. With the help of volunteers, we support seniors aging in the comfort of their homes. We also work to increase members’ well-being and reduce social isolation by hosting a variety of workshops, cultural events and outings.
Our membership has increased in the Embarcadero area. You can choose to help in a variety of ways, such as: serve our senior members as a walking companion, help grocery shop, assist with technology issues, lead a virtual event, or make friendly check-in phone calls to brighten someone’s day. If you live nearby, please consider helping your senior neighbors by becoming a NEXT Village volunteer.

Description
NEXT Village SF promotes better health, fosters an active lifestyle and fights social isolation among the large and growing 60+ demographic in northeast San Francisco. We know that better physical and mental health result from the increased community interaction and personalized support available to members of our Village.
With the help of volunteers, NEXT Village San Francisco provides a common sense, neighborhood-based approach for aging adults who want to remain in their own homes, promoting engagement, connection, and awareness.
