Are you a driven individual who enjoys the challenges of new tasks, and acquiring new knowledge and skills? We might have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for the perfect para-professional to support our Emergency Preparedness Program with a multitude of interesting, skills-enhancing tasks.
Tasks may include:
Assistance with Emergency Response/ Public Health Trainings, such as CPR/ First Aid/ AED/ Stairchair
Taking and uploading photos into online database
Keeping an electronic database up to date
Assisting with development and curriculum of Preparedness Month educational campaigns
Organizing testing/ training schedules
Assist with respirator fit testing
Assist with educational display preparation
Assist with community education as needed
Assist with mock mass clinic preparation- typing out scenarios, collecting/ entering feedback and surveys
The ideal candidate will have good Microsoft Office skills, have strong organization and interpersonal skills. Experience and comfort working with online websites and PowerPoint or other training softwares desired. Experience with Emergency Preparedness, Disaster response, mass care preferred desired but not required. As long as you have the drive to learn and stay with us, we will teach you!
