ORGANIZATION: The Museum of Pop Culture

Museum of Pop Culture seeks an intern with an interest in fundraising to join the Advancement team. The intern will be exposed to a variety of fundraising job duties, including the annual Founders Award, MoPOP’s signature gala event. The ideal candidate should have an interest in fundraising, as well as the nonprofit sector.

During the course of the school year, the intern will gain core hands-on fundraising skills, while strengthening their resume and portfolio.

Description

The Museum of Pop Culture is dedicated to the exploration of creativity and innovation in popular music. By blending interpretative, interactive exhibitions with cutting-edge technology, MoPOP captures and reflects the essence of rock 'n' roll, its roots in jazz, soul, gospel, country and the blues, as well as rock's influence on hip-hop, punk and other recent genres. Visitors can view rare artifacts and memorabilia and experience the creative process by listening to musicians tell their own stories.
