About Us: Resurrection Roller Derby is a Sonoma County roller derby league based out of Rohnert Park. We're volunteer run, with the mission of promoting the sport and providing opportunities for athletes in the North Bay region. Our league is growing fast, with plans to do even more moving forward.

The Role: We're looking for an additional graphic designer to help put together flyers, brochures, web content, merchandise and more. Graphic design volunteers should be comfortable with Adobe software and operating in a collaborative environment. You'll be working with our existing team to create media files and help define the brand.

Why You Should Do It: For one, this is going to be a lot more fun that what you normally do. Why? Roller derby is cool, we're cool, and you get to join in our coolness. You'll also get to watch the organization grow and know you helped make that happen. You'll of course get to use us as a reference and some portfolio materials, that goes without saying. We do whatever we can to recognize and reward volunteers for their hard work. And if you want to try something new or learn a new technique, we'll support you.

Commitment: Graphic designers should expect to spend 4-5 hours per month on projects. There are generally no mandatory meetings, and no requirement to show up in person. Optional bi-monthly meetings are recommended. Volunteers who want to put in more time or take on more responsibility will have that opportunity.
