ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

Be the first contact for visitors! The Visitors Center at Lory State Park in Bellvue is looking for a Visitor Center Technician. Visitors are welcomed to the park and provided with information and services that will result in a positive recreational experience. Park manager, park rangers and seasoned senior volunteers will provide training and guidance on the computer system and natural and cultural history of Lory State Park. Volunteers are also needed as work crews for trail maintenence. You can also help with the Park Naturalist assisting with environmental educational programs for school outings, families and community groups

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
