Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center provides free drug and alcohol counseling services to one of Chicago's most under-served communities. Clients attend program that teaching them how to cope with their addiction and work towards an abstinence life style while encompassing a hard reduction approach. The client's graduation day is a highly anticipated events that builds confidence and pride. We are looking for volunteers to help make this celebration even more memorable for our clients. We welcome all types of performing arts as long as they hold an empowering messages that inspires clients to continue their hard work.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Above and Beyond is to build an individualized treatment experience that is available to anyone in need regardless of their economic status. Our clients and clinicians create therapeutic alliances that design and execute personalized programs of recovery that co-exist side-by-side personal development and growth goals. We believe that recovery is a process that requires meeting individuals where they are at as well as addressing their environmental life circumstances such as: education, employment readiness, interpersonal relationships, and social reintegrative abilities and activities.

We are a 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals who seek recovery from alcohol and drugs at no charge whatsoever. We're free.
