The Data Management Intern will work closely with WPO’s operations staff. Primary responsibilities of the Data Management Intern include:
- Research Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and internet platforms for relevance to the needs of the WPO
- Make a recommendation to the staff and board about which platform to use based on cost and usefulness
- Update and maintain constituent database
- Research prospective donors, concertgoers, volunteers, etc.
- Manipulate database to serve the needs of the orchestra’s operations (events, mailings, email blasts etc.)

The Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to performing baroque, classical, romantic and contemproary music of the standard repertory, as well as light popular and jazz pieces. It is dedicated to meeting the cultural, educational and social needs of the citizens of the greater Waltham area.
Description
Thw Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra is a community group of volunteer musicians drawing from the Metrowest area of Boston. The group rehearses 1/wk and performs 3 regular concerts, 2 pops and 1 jazz concert each year.
