Do you want to help others? The Salvation Army is looking for a compassionate and detail-minded volunteer who is comfortable talking with people on the phone.
Volunteer(s) will answer phone calls from people needing assistance from The Salvation and re-direct those calls to the appropriate staff member/location. Phone and customer service experience is a plus!

Volunteers are needed Monday thru Friday. We will work with the right volunteers to schedule days and times that work for you!

And, The Salvation Army is delivering the most critical services -- food, shelter, emergency assistance and disaster relief.
In communities throughout Chicago and the surrounding five-county area, we extend emergency and supportive assistance from 28 corps community centers, 80 service extension units, the Emergency Disaster Services Center, residential programs, mobile units, and several counseling sites.
