The Farmstead Arts Center operates under the Friends of the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. The Friends of the KMS is currently in search for new board members who will bring a fresh perspective to the work and operation of the Farmstead Arts Center. New board members will ideally have a background or interest in history or historic preservation. Being a local resident is a plus!

Board members should be free to attend board meetings several times a year. Please contact us at admin@farmsteadarts.org for more information. We appreciate your interest!

The Friends of the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead oversee the Farmstead Arts Center and Historic Preservation Site. The 1700s farmhouse and barn are now home to a center for fine, performing and practical arts in Basking Ridge, NJ. Nestled beside the Passaic River on four acres that are part of the 40 acre Farmstead Park, the Farmstead provides the ideal environment for artists to practice their craft. Farmstead Arts offers art classes, workshops, art exhibits, theater and concerts. Local artists utilize the rooms in the historic house for individual studio space.
