We are a clinic providing social, medical, and wellness services to the homeless and low-income population of women and children in the local Berkeley area. Our volunteers consist of undergraduate students as well as healthcare professionals. We are looking for a security guard to overlook the space during clinic hours to ensure that our clinic is a safe space. We are willing to pay up to $15/hour, but do require that volunteers have appropriate self-defense training. Our clinic takes place on Monday nights from 6-9 PM at LIFE Church at 2236 Parker St. in Berkeley, CA. We would like to have a security guard present weekly, but any help is appreciated. Our clinic begins on September 10, 2018 and will continue to operate throughout the year. For more information about our clinic, feel free to contact us at womenscoords@suitcaseclinic.org and visit our website at suitcaseclinic.org.
