This position reports directly to the Volunteer Coordinator. The team consists of one coordinator and multiple team members. They will create and plan programs that engage and support the community and employees. The Community Relations Team will develop and expand relationships with community leaders and media representatives.
Responsibilities...
- Create relationships with local schools, churches, or businesses
- Work with OAI staff to engage an empower community leaders
- Time commitment: 3-5 hours/week

- An understanding of OAI's work
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly demeanor and desire to engage with the community
- Ability to work well in teams
