As background, the Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse offers a supportive community program based on the Clubhouse model that "work is healing." This unique program offers a safe environment and provides opportunities to develop and improve skills, build social relationships and gain self-confidence needed to lead more meaningful and productive lives.
Currently MBIC needs a licensed/registered dietician to review & approve our monthly catered lunch menu ensuring that it meets a minimum of 33% of the Dietary Reference Intakes as established by the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.
We expect this volunteer to donate approximately 5 hours per month to us.

Mission Statement: To provide life long rehabilitative services and support to those affected by brain injury or stroke.
Description
The Clubhouse is a unique place where individuals can come to relearn skills through the work of the day. We like to think of the Clubhouse as our home away from home and the folks here are like family. For many the Clubhouse is the next step in transitioning from a patient back into the real world.
