We are an independent living facility for low-income seniors, who live in supportive housing. I am the resident wellness director ( Social Services) here at Good Shepherd Manor. I am constantly looking for different activities we can bring to my residents, to be able to address depression/social isolation that is prevalent in older adults. I am also trying to think of fun ways to be able to make my residents excited about their health/wellness and would appreciate any assistance in bringing that to my community!

Our mission as Resident Wellness Directors, is to provide supportive social/health/wellness services to resident of the supportive housing communities we work in. Our goal is provide them with the tools/resources necessary to meet their health/social/spiritual/ religious and family needs. Through this support, we hope our presence in their communities, makes a difference in helping them age successfully and independently.
