BayPath Elder Services is currently looking for volunteer drivers for the town of Sudbury, MA. A hot, nutritionally balanced lunch is delivered to home bound seniors Mon-Fri. Meals are typically picked up at 10:45 at the Sudbury Senior Center and the delivery route takes approximately 1 hour to deliver. Volunteers typically deliver 1 day per week. Sudbury is currently in need of drivers specifically for Thursday and Friday but could use back-up drivers Mon-Fri. Reliable transportation and a background check is required for this volunteer position. We do reimburse for mileage! Help us help seniors in need!

Description
Springwell, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, is part of a statewide network of Aging Services Access Points and nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging that coordinate care services to enhance the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families. Services include homemaking, personal care, grocery shopping, home delivered meals, transportation, and more. Volunteers provide vital help delivering meals, doing grocery shopping, visiting with isolated older adults, helping with budgeting and monthly bills, and advocating for those living in nursing homes.
