The Victim Impact Panels (VIPs or the "MADD class") are an on-going program where we do education to those who have received a DUI. There are 12 locations throughout Santa Clara, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Each panel meets once a month and most are on nights and weekends. We need administrators to process paperwork for the attendees as they arrive, process the paperwork during the class and distribute the paperwork at the end of the class.

Mission Statement
MADD's mission is: to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.
Description
MADD was incorporated on September 5, 1980, the mission or purposes of MADD as stated in its Articles of Incorporation were "To aid the victims of crimes performed by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to aid the families of such victims and to increase public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving.
In 1984, MADD changed its name from Mothers Against Drunk Drivers to Mothers Against Drunk Driving. This carefully considered change was made because MADD is opposed to the criminal act of drunk driving, not individuals. MADD also updated its mission statement to "Mothers Against Drunk Driving provides grassroots leadership to create major social change in the attitude and behavior of Americans toward drunk driving.
MADD has worked tirelessly to end drunk driving and create a future of No More Victims. In the campaign to eliminate drunk driving MADD supports high visibility law enforcement keeping the roads and communities safe, ignition interlock devices in all cars and has passed laws in 30 states to achieve this goal, supports autonomous vehicle technology and the driver alcohol detection systems for safety. Through community education in our schools, at organizations and to those who have received a DUI we are changing people's perspectives and attitudes.
Our Dublin office serves the whole bay area with many opportunities to engage with your community to make a difference!
