Hospice Volunteer 2

Wanted! People seeking to be the positive change in the world. Compassus Hospice is seeking compassionate people to visit with hospice patients in assisted living communities and nursing homes in Southern Maine.

As a hospice volunteer, your role may be as simple as reading a book or newspaper, listening to music, attending an activity, taking a walk, or holding a hand. There are also many opportunities to assist with tasks at our home office in Scarborough. The heart of volunteering in hospice is simply enjoying each others company; time both you & your patient will find rewarding, and their family will greatly appreciate.

Volunteer placement and time is planned for your convenience!
