Our Food Movers program is up and running and growing daily. We need volunteer food movers to deliver food to a shut-in one time per week. Volunteers should have their own car, be able to come to MSK and pick up the food and then take it to the shut-in. The time commitment is about 1 hour per week. This opportunity occurs every Thursday from 10am-11am. You would deliver to the same person each week and it is a very meaningful relationship for both parties. This program was created to assist people with decreasing hospitals visits, maintaining a healthy weight, and improving mental health.
