Corpoint, Inc. has opportunities for individual that are passionate about helping veterans.

We need assistance in the following areas and will provide training:

  • Grant writing-we are a 100% volunteer organization but need funding to allow for administrative and marketing costs
  • Coaching veterans who need guidance with education or career choices/business start-ups
  • Marketing-social media, local events, community engagement, business engagement
  • Administrative-record keeping, filing, organization of documents, managing meetings

To enrich the lives of veterans in Western North Carolina as they integrate back into society after service. We strive to serve as a resource for inspiration, motivation and accountability for those that wish to further their education, start a new career or develop their own business.

Description

Corpoint, Inc. was formed by veterans and the family members of veterans. These individuals recognize the struggles veterans face when they leave service and wanted to help them with the significant challenges they face. It is common for veterans to fall through the cracks when it comes to navigating how they will spend their days as a civilian. They often face health challenges such as PTSD, alcohol and drug addition as well as homelessness. There is plenty of data to support the positive impact of furthering your education after service and that is important aspect of what we do. We work closely with our vets to make sure they know the benefits they have available to them and help them navigate the complex systems to take advantage of what they have earned through their service.
