Provide support and assistance to family members and friends of our surgical patients, acting as a liaison between the patient's family and the operating and recovery room staff, as well as provide social interaction with waiting room visitors as a means of distraction while they await word on their loved-one. This is one of the most rewarding volunteer roles you can have at the hospital, especially if you like to meet and visit with new people! Shifts currently in-need are Wednesday 8am-12pm and Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays 12pm-4pm.
