Ecoworks relies on an amazing team of committed volunteers to accomplish our mission. We engage people in fun ways while taking advantage of the hidden value present in what is often considered trash.
We are looking for motivated volunteers, who can commit their time for at least 2-3 hour shifts.
EcoWorks is a creative reuse center with a reBoutique gift shop of up-cycled and repurposed goods made by CT artists. We sell low-cost art supplies and rescued materials to support teachers, artists and others seeking to be more creative and artistic! EcoWorks also offers classes and workshops that span interests and mediums, including papercrafts, sewing, painting, sculpting, and more ...
Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to: sort and price donations, assist at the front desk/register, improve sales item presentation, assist with events, sort and appraise items and supplies, and more!
EcoWorks is 100% volunteer-run and welcomes you to join our volunteer team!
Join our long-term volunteers Kim and Pat and other volunteer staff as they continue our mission to:
- Promote creativity & environmental awareness.
- Reduce waste and divert useful materials from incineration.
- Inspire creative reuse & breathe new life into old materials.
Volunteer Hours: During Store Hours:
Thursday 12-8 p.m., Friday- Sunday 12-6 p.m., and other times by appointment!
We appreciate your willingness to support our mission. If you would like to volunteer, please email our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@ecoworksct.org or reply to this email.
Hope you can join us!
