CRAFTERS AND DIY-ERS NEEDED!

If you are a crafty person, we can always use your skills to make carrier pads, cat beds, crafts for our fundraising sales, or maybe you have a great talent we haven’t thought of using yet! We often participate in small craft fairs and fundraising events, and would appreciate items donated to sell, including but not limited to: jewelry, home decor, cat and dog items (such as toys, bandanas, bowls, bedding, etc.), quilts/blankets, etc. Items donated may also be used to create raffle and silent auction baskets to be shown at our annual raffle, at craft shows, and other events.

We are a small organization trying to grow our dedicated volunteer base, and would love to have some more experienced fundraising volunteers join us as well. If you have any experience with fundraising, or would like to help us generate ideas, please contact us - we'll be glad to have your input!
In your response, please let us know what your skills or talents are, what you'd like to donate (items or fundraising skills), and what time frame you plan on.

Mission Statement

We are an all-volunteer foster home rescue. We rescue abandoned, homeless, and unwanted cats from DuPage County Animal Services.

Description

We seek out the cats that need a 'second chance,' often due to no fault of their own. We strive to do the best possible adoptions for both the prospective person/family as well as the cat, and will help you make the best possible decision for your situation. We understand that the adoption process is a thoughtful one, and encourage you to take your time to find your best feline friend.

Our cats are examined by a veterinarian, blood tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and parasite tested/treated. Adopters are provided with medical records, a rabies certificate, and information to help introduce the cat to their home. We also provide information about the cat that we have learned through foster and daily interaction by our volunteers.
