Family Science Night Fun!

Volunteer with the Children's Science Center during the 2018-2019 school year!

The Children's Science Center will host a Family Science Night for families at elementary schools across Northern Virginia this school year! Join us for a fun, science-filled night while inspiring a love of learning and STEM-literacy in our local children.

Terrific opportunity for teens to fulfill volunteer hour requirements! Also a great opportunity for corporate groups to assist in their community! Volunteers MUST be 16 years of age or older and provide their own transportation. No need to be an Einstein (although we're open to that)!

** All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Profile on our VolunteerMatters database prior to serving with the Children's Science Center. http://childsci.org/get-involved/volunteer/

Volunteers will help engage and excite children in science and engineering learning and exploration through the use of educational, interactive, hands-on instruction. Volunteers will be expected to review a volunteer instruction packet and/or watch a video for additional preparation. Contact Volunteer@childsci.org for more information.
