My Friends Place NY is a grassroot volunteer run non-profit agency based in Brooklyn. We are looking for volunteers to help plan events and fundraising. Our mission is the empower Asian American communities through educational programs, volunteer opportunities and mental health.
The ideal candidates are knowledgeable about event planning and various fundraising ideas that are easy to execute. The volunteers to assist with promoting the event and help with generate fundraising for the nonprofit. We are hoping to do in person event so ideally the volunteer lives in the NYC area.
