Share your skills with the community by volunteering as a Maintenance Volunteer at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Bangor. RMHC is looking for individuals who are generally handy or have specific skills sets. Volunteers may help with routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs and air filters or cleaning dryer vents, or assist with assessing issues, paint touch up's, etc. Volunteers with specific skill sets may assist with minor repairs as needed.

This position is very flexible, and the time commitment is based on what works for the volunteer.

Help RMHC ensure a safe and functional facility for families to stay in while their children are in the hospital or receiving treatment locally.

In accordance with RMHC Maine’s duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards, and to ensure the safest and healthiest possible environment for each other and the families we serve, we require all staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Protocols are in place for COVID including masking, social distancing, and enhanced cleaning procedures.
