Then you might be the 2019 World Rainforest Day Coordinator. What is World Rainforest Day?

World Rainforest Day, launched by Rainforest Partnership on June 22nd, 2017, is collaborative effort to raise awareness and encourage action to save one of Earth’s most precious resources, our rainforests.

This highly-impactful position involves coordinating over 50+ partners from around the world to activate humanity to take action for rainforests. Tasks include but not limited to: managing correspondence with 2019 World Rainforest Day partners, coordinating with WRD partners and RP team to successfully execute World Rainforest Day, managing various social media accounts, creating content, making partnerships with media, writing press releases, and creating buzz for this important day.

World Rainforest Day is June 22, 2019 but you would start immediately on bringing new WRD partners onboard, getting current WRD partners ready, creating a social media plan for attracting more followers and engagement, creating engaging content, contacting influencers, and spending ad money correctly.

We need someone who can stick to a tight timeline, is very well organized, and is an effective, positive collaborator. This opportunity will give you first-hand experience of the inner workings of an international nonprofit and allow you to make a positive impact in our world.
