ORGANIZATION: Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management

This will be an ongoing listing that will be used to create a pool of volunteers that can be used in the event of a disaster or Public Safety Exercise within the Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management (CCOEM) jurisdiction.

CCOEM is also in the process of establishing a Volunteer Subcommittee of the overarching Cuyahoga Communities Active in Disast (COAD). The Subcommittee objectives will be to network organizations that can provide volunteers or will need volunteers for a disaster response;

+Integrate voluntary organizations into the county emergency management system
+Plan for the operation of a Volunteer Registration Center
+Credential volunteers according to FEMA guidelines
+Provide training
+Assist in planning processes
+Other additional roles and responsibilities as necessary
